Hi Baysiders,

This Sunday is our last Sunday studying in the Book of Revelation. It’s been a challenging time as we’ve considered how the original readers read and understood John’s letter to them.  This week, “Anticipation!”  I’d tell you specifically what it’s about but it would ruin the, “Anticipation!”  We’ll also be celebrating communion this Sunday.  Jesus says when we take communion we proclaim Him until He comes again.

Be a founding member of Bayside of Lincoln … attend our first official church business meeting scheduled for June 29th.  We need to approve our constitution, approve our budget and approve our first group of official “Bayside Leadership Team,” members, and finally approve our first founding members of our church.  If you’d like to be a founding member come to the CLASS 101 this Sunday from 1-5 pm at Community Christian School on First Street located adjacent to First Baptist Church (they allow us to use their facility!).  It will be a great time of celebration as we officially birth a new church!  You’ll be able to pick up all the above documents at church by June 15th.

The next step…Looking for Land.  Mel Ewing, a member of our church, has begun the process of investigating plots of land that would be suitable for Bayside of Lincoln. Mel would love to have others of you on his team.  If you’re interested in assisting on the Land Acquisition Team sign up on Sunday morning on your blue Welcome to Bayside card.  Now is a great time to buy.

Get signed up for Cactus Canyon Breakaway 08 for Kindergarten through 5th Grade!
It’s June 23-27 in the evening, 6:30-8:30 pm, at 12 Bridges ELEMENTARY School.

Have you made a decision to be a Christ follower at Bayside of Lincoln?  Go to the back of the auditorium on Sunday morning and pick up some free Bible Study information that will help you get started in your reading of scripture!

If you’d like to get connected in a greater way, go to the small group table on Sunday morning and sign up for a weekly small group.  There are Men’s only, Women’s only, and Couples groups available.

God bless,
Pastor Ed
