What to Expect |

1. How do people dress for the worship service?
Casual dress is the most typical. There is no set “dress code”. We feel that God is more interested in who we are rather than what we wear. You’ll see everything from sport jackets to shorts and t-shirts.
2. What kind of church is Bayside of Lincoln?
Many people want to know what the appropriate label is for the church they are visiting or attending. Bayside of Lincoln is a part of the Bayside Family of Churches. A series of church-plants affiliated with Bayside of Granite Bay and the Evangelical Covenant churches.
Perhaps more helpful, is to focus on the central commitment of Bayside of Lincoln, and that is for it to be a Christian church. “Christian” means simply to be related to Christ. Central in what we believe are the truths that Jesus of Nazareth came to the human race, and that he offered himself as a sacrifice for our sins so that we may accept Him as Savior and Lord.
This means that He is our source of forgiveness, our way to a new start, and the only way we can come under the leadership and care of God in our lives.
3. Will I be singled out in the worship service?
We take special care to help you maintain your anonymity if you want, for as long as you want. We are here to minister to you in any way that we possibly can, but we allow you to take the lead. If you would like to complete the “blue card” in your bulletin, we would be glad to add you to our email/mailing list.
4. Do you have communion?
We typically have a communion Sunday once a month.
5. How do I learn about membership?
Attend our “101” class called “Discovering Bayside”. Offered several times throughout the year, our 101 Class is an opportunity to learn more about Bayside of Lincoln and what we believe. Completion of this class is a prerequisite for membership at Bayside of Lincoln.
